Let me just hammer this wood in, make sure it's nice and snug... ahh, there we go, now what did you want to talk about?

Panel 3
Jacob: *phew*
Jase: How's it going?
Panel 4
Jacob: I think I've finished it off, but I'm exhausted.
Jase: Well, you did just handle a lot of wood.
Jacob: Yeah, I did, but I thought it would be harder.

Fencing
Gary
This weekend, my wife got a "package" of bees (aka a hive's worth, aka three pounds worth, aka about ten thousand bees and a queen), and I, with help, built a fence. Well... I didn't really build a whole fence, I built about half of it. (see the pics below). The second half will probably be put together in a couple weeks. It's not a lot of additional work, I'm just booked this coming weekend. Either way, I feel so manly, having screwed hard wood all weekend. Oh wait, perhaps that came out wrong. Well, either way, it's out there in the wind for all to see. Hopefully the fence will block the wind a little for the bees, and will discourage the bees, a little bit from dive bombing any cookout we have in our yard.

Also, I've tried a little something new with the colors in the comic today, I hope you all like it. I played with the color saturation, hue, and shadow darkness for each time of day. Basically I tried to simulate different light from different times of day. I've done this a little in some previous comics, but this time I decided to actually think about it. Also something I learned while doing this comic, is that my humor isn't very high brow. Oh well.

Popup Dungeon
Gary
One last thing, there's a cool game I'm supporting and hoping will get made, it's called Popup Dungeon. It's a super customizable rpg/dungeon crawler for solo and multiplayer. If it gets funded, I'll throw together the main characters of the comic as characters and try to post them here (since you can create and share players, if I can't post them here, I'll post them through the game's mechanics to post them, since that's a feature of the game). If you have a few bucks, please support it, or at least check it out to see if it's something of interest.
