Every so often, I overhear people asking IT to install something on their home PC or asking "why can't I just install VPN on my home PC". The reasons are pretty straight forward if someone thought about it. It's a a major security risk. Letting a computer on to the network that isn't secure is basically making the network just as insecure. And why won't IT guys go install new hardware or fix your home computer? because they have no idea how old the hardware is, or how many programs you've downloaded, etc. So basically if they did come over to install stuff, it would en up much like panel three. Can you tell I'm generally in a bad mood this week? Because I am, though it has nothing to do with what this comic is about, so I'm going to end my random rant and get some sleep.
