Silly Sam McGee: Hey, I was just handed this bug on my project, and well, you're the web master, right? So, master of all things web?
Web Master Manuel: Yeah, I guess so.
Silly Sam McGee: Well, my application runs on the web, so, I guess that means this bug now belongs to you.

Drag me away, drag me to hell
Ok, I've put it off long enough. Hopefully those of you who wanted to see the movie uninfluenced, have already seen it. Here's my take on "Drag me to Hell".

I saw this movie two weeks ago, with a friend, and I really enjoyed it. The Rami brothers have done it again. It's not Evil Dead 2, but it's hard to be that good with out Bruce Campbell. It's still a really good movie, extremely enjoyable. They effectively mixed horror and comedy. The movie makes you jump and then laugh. It was a lot of fun, and the people sitting behind us added to it immensely. One of the guys would jump at everything and then everyone laughed when the jokes it. It was a lot of fun. The acting was average, and the special effects were medium quality, but that's not really why you go to see this movie. There were also several somewhat gross scenes that I could've done without, but nothing's perfect. The plot, the dialog, and the shots were great. Hopefully you all get a chance to see it. I know I'll be picking it up when it comes out on dvd. It will make a great addition to my Halloween movies.

"Drag me to Hell"=An enjoyable film for all horror/"Evil Dead" fans, and a great little snack before the upcoming 2010 "The Evil Dead" movie.

Musical gas
Well, this weekend, I went to one of the most ridiculous things of my life, and that's saying a lot. I've been to thing like kaiju, digital overload, body painting art shows, etc, but this one definately took the cake. It was an air guitar compitition at the Metro. Like most ridiculous things, it was actually a lot of fun. It consisted of 25 performers, 3 judges, and 2 rounds of judging. The judges took the whole thing tongue and cheek, making jokes and getting the crowd going just as much as the performers did. During it, someone got on stage and was disqualified, by he reminded me of an old friend, Nick. Nick, if you're out there, let me know. You owe me $10, heh, I jest. So yeah, the compitition was fun and strange and unique. If you see such a thing playing in the future, don't just dismiss it, give it a try, or practice up and enter yourself.

Actually, after I wrote this, I looked Nick up on Friendster, and found him.

Zombie attack!
This Saturday at 2pm, the zombies are marching on Millennium Park in Chicago. Could be fun, as if the air guitar last week wasn't strange enough for me, and yet I am tempted by this.
